The Burger Shack Reviews
This fast food restaurant delivers quick service and consistently tasty meals, perfect for a bite on the go. The burgers are juicy, fries crispy, and portions generous for the price. It's a reliable spot when you're craving something satisfying and fast.
Love an authentic grilled burger joint. The atmosphere was awesome a bunch of young families enjoying a casual meal out. Try the onion rings! We’ll be trying the Greek food next time.
The Burger Shack is frequently mentioned in neighborhood social media, and for years, I never had the opportunity to try it until today. What caught my attention at first was the dedicated work of the staff. I could be mistaken, but it seems like the place is owned by a family. This reminded me of my home country, where I regularly visited similar family-run businesses that became traditional spots over the years due to their consistent quality and hard work. They manage to maintain their standards without unnecessary investments that wouldn't enhance the business. What I found at The Burger Shack was an extremely flavorful burger, without the need for any modern, hyped-up gimmicks. It was simply an honest burger—one of the best I've tasted in the city. I highly recommend it!
I passed by this old school burger joint and I gotta say I was very impressed. Tried the home burger with cheese and was pleasantly surprised to get options between cheddar, Swiss and another cheese. I went with the Swiss. Burgers are made to order. Fresh kaiser buns and all the fixings done in front of you. I would try the homemade 6oz burger next time. The home burger is cheaper but also a regular frozen burger. However the char taste is noticeable right away! The toppings were fresh and delicious. The burger was well balanced and not too greasy, which I enjoyed! Overall a great burger and one that won't weigh you down. I'll definitely be returning to try the other offerings at the shack. The milk shakes looked delicious too.
Burger Shack is a gem of a spot that embodies humility and quality. The atmosphere is unpretentious, making it an inviting place for anyone seeking a great meal. What truly sets them apart are their perfect burger patties, grilled to perfection over charcoal. This method imparts a delightful smoky flavor that elevates their burgers to a whole new level. For a straightforward yet exceptional burger experience, Burger Shack is the place to be. Their fries and onion rings are as good as their homemade patties.
What an amazing surprise. I always pass the Burger Shack never stop. Last week I went in and what a delicious burger. Great fries and old school ambient. Is one of the best burgers in T.O. check it, now im hooked in. Tha ks guys to keep it real.
Burger Shack is a legend among burger establishments. This is the place that my grandparents took me each Friday night for burgers, fries, and onion rings many years ago. Today, the interior is still the same, the menu board still looks the same, the fold-down seats are still the same, the joy of tasting their authentic burgers is still the same. It is a treat to watch the open flame-broiler unleash the sight of fire with the sound of sizzling grilled meat. The burgers (and steak on a kaiser) taste like real grilled meat because that's what they are (and not some microwaved imitation), and the chicken souvlaki is always tender and juicy. The onion rings deserve particular mention - I have found these to be the best onion rings anywhere. They are thick and plump, moderately crispy on the outside and doughy on the inside. Add a little bit of gravy, and it doesn't get much better than that. Over the years, things come and go, but Burger Shack has remained the same - uncompromised, unpretentious, real.
Fantastic experience! Friendly staff, quick service, very clean and the food was amazing. A traditional, family owned burger joint with delicious food. Support these folks -- they're local, not a chain, and offer old-fashioned menu favorites.
